Arjowiggins

Caring for the environment is a fundamental component of Arjowiggins' corporate strategy. The search for a balance between economic constraints and controlling the impact of its activities has encouraged the company to constantly improve its effi ciency in environmental issues.

The company's Environmental Charter defines engagements of the group with respect to his collaborators and his partners. From the supplies paste until the management of waste while passing by the selection of its partners, the Charter poses the principles which guide the control of the company and of its production sites.

Arjowiggins' three-pronged strategy:

  • The sourcing and production of recycled and certified paste PEFC/FSC
  • Certification ISO 14001 and FSC of the production sites.
It is today effective in the majority of the production facilities. Many actions are implemented in addition on each site as regards management of waste, of treatment of water and of losses of substances, reduction of the emissions of carbon and l' energy efficiency on all the production line.
